My lifelong focus continues to be working to enhance community, family, and individual health and economic security.I have over 30 years of experience in government, public health, community organizing and human services.  I know how to solve short-term challenges for communities while planning for the future.

Proven Experience in Government

Current employer:  Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General.

  • Research and analyize state health care policy and payment.

Recent  employer:  Health Resources in Action, a non-profit dedicated to health promotion and disease prevention.

  • As a Program Director designed and implemented community health and prevention programs.

Former policy advisor: Boston City Councilor Rosaria Salerno

  • Developed policy and legislation on public safety, education, health care, elder services, recycling, affordable housing, and community development.         

Former community organizer: Built grassroots and legislative support for national security, economic equality, and social justice policies and legislation

My wife Ann Munsun and I chose Watertown as the perfect place to start a family. Nathaniel is in his first year at the Watertown High School and Joanna is in the 5th grade at the Hosmer Elementary School.
